Maharana Pratap is the only king who never gave up, never bowed down in front of the Mughals, his armor was 108kg and sword was 72 kg, which he defeated his enemies.

Maharana Pratap was born on the 9th May 1540 in Kumbhalgarh Rajasthan, his father's name was Maharana Udai Singh II, his mother's name was RaniJaivanta Kanwar, Raja Udai Singh Singh is also known as King of Fort because in Rajasthan many forts have been built by Maharana Udai Singh himself, When his father died, every brother wany brothers want to become king . Who will be next the king of Mewar, A very big question arises, although first Maharana Pratap's brother would have been given the throne, but after some time Maharana Pratap become the king of Mewar back.Maharana Pratap becomes my 54th king of Mewar.
In 1567, when Maharana Pratap turns 27 year old, Akbar's eyes are fixed on Mewar, after which Akbar tries his best to capture Mewar, Akbar send his diplomatic to Mewar to convey the mhaharana pratap but in the end, he had to leave Mewar after agreeing with Mughal. Maharana Pratap gets very angry about this matter.
In 1572, Maharana Pratap had once again conquered Chittor, after winning the war by charging the Mughals, he took Mewar in his possession and he was running the entire administration according to him. Due to this, All the brothers get into mutual enmity, due to which many of their brothers went to the Mughals and became their sarnagrathi. Taking advantage of this, Akbar tries to pressure on Pratap and in the end Akbar declares war.
Battel of Haldigati or Battel Of Blood
Despite Akbar's relentless efforts, Maharana Pratap did not hand over Mewar to the Mughals, after which in Akbar became very angry, In 1576 Akbar declared war. This war was to be fought by Raja Man Singh and Asaf Khan against Mewar. Raja Man Singh attacked Mewar with an army of 80000 to the Mughals, but there Maharana Pratap was also eagerly waiting to see when the war would begin, with this Maharana Pratap's army of 20000 in which 2000 horsemen were so small. Maharana Pratap attacked the Mughals with the army, after which both of them had the most fierce battle in the history, but no-one win in this war, when Asaf Khan's fight with Maharana Pratap in the field he was defeated by Maharana Pratap cuts off his horse along with his head, when Maharana Pratap goes to kill Raja Man Singh, then one leg of Chetak is cut off, but still Maharana Pratap tries his best to kill him but due to some reason he survived.
Mughal falls behind to kill Maharana Pratap, To save Pratap's life, Chetak runs on the cut and jumps 25 feet long and reaches Maharana Pratap to a safe place and chetak becomes martyr. With this, there is no victory in this war and the Mughals are not able to capture Mewar. Maharana Pratap promised that he would sleep on the ground and eat grass bread until he did not defeat mughals.Maharana Pratap never gave up his life, On 19 January 1597, when he died at 56 years, historians have told the cause of death that when he went to summit the forests, Maharana pratap get injuries during forests ,He suffers a deep injury due to which he dies. Even after hearing the news of his death, Akbar had expressed a lot of grief and praised him by writing a letter, after his death his eldest son Amar Singh took over the royal dynesty. History will always remember his bravery and love for the country.
Chetak Smriti
Historians say that Chetak was born only for Maharana Pratap, even after cutting Chetak's leg in the battle of Haldi Gathi, he gave up his life while saving Maharana Pratap, Maharana Pratap cried a lot after Chetak's death. And in his memory Maharana Pratap had built Chetak Smriti in Rajasthan where Chetak's idol was made.
